Dr. David B. Franklin is an experienced forensic evaluator located in Bexar County.  He has been providing comprehensive forensic evaluations for several years in order to meet the ever increasing needs of the legal community in San Antonio and the surrounding area.  While forensic evaluations can be complex and time-consuming, comprehensive evaluation reports are a trademark of Dr. Franklin's easy-to-understand and matter-of-fact writing style.  

Dr. Franklin received a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.  He has been practicing for 20 years and has worked in a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings as both a clinician and as a forensic evaluator, consulting with attorneys, their clients, and related legal institutions. Throughout his career, Dr. Franklin has conducted about 45 social studies (along with other forensic evaluations), with a dozen of those being in Bexar County.  In addition, Dr. Franklin served as an expert witness in three cases and has offered court testimony in seven cases, with two of those being in Bexar County.  Dr. Franklin conducts evaluations and offers expert testimony for Criminal, Family, and Juvenile Courts.

Because of this, Dr. Franklin is often called upon by legal professionals, insurance companies, and governmental agencies to provide services for cases involving criminal and other civil matters. All evaluations are in compliance with requirements set forth in the relevant Bexar County guidelines, which are pursuant to Texas Family Code Chapter 107, Subchapter D, as amended by the 80th Texas Legislative Session.

Rates for Forensic Evaluations vary, but generally run between $150 and $200 per hour.
