His dissertation research was innovative for all counseling professions. Specifically, he developed a way to measure a mental health clinician's ethical competence. Because of his groundbreaking work, he is one of the foremost experts in the area of ethics and ethical competence.
David also hold numerous, prestigious credentials, such as the Diplomate rating from the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and Board Certification in Domestic Violence. In addition, he holds a Diplomate rating in Clinical Social Work from The National Association of Social Workers.
